The Health Equity Research (HER) Organization is an organization focused on bringing attention to women's health. Our goal is to raise awareness to the current inequities in women's health through community outreach and identifying the disparities of science communication.

Meet Our Founder

Arianna Shamin is the founder of the HER Organization and is a student at Oceanside High School. She has been a volunteer at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital's Maternity Unit and is also an active member of her school's research program, both of which have helped her in developing and pursuing a passion in Women's Health. Arianna hopes that through the HER Organization, the world can see the changes that need to be made to the healthcare system to improve the lives of women across the globe.
